I heard about St. Vincent as a dive destination several years ago, however, for one reason or the other hadn't made it here until I heard about this trip. What I had previously heard about St. Vincent proved to be true. It is a great destination for those who like to do "critter photography." I've seen critters here that I haven't seen at any other place. It's not as easy to get to as Cozumel or the Caymans but if you are looking for a new spot this is a good choice.
The accommodations on Young Island are excellent. The service is a bit slow but as they say "You're in the islands man!"
The dive operator we used Dive St. Vincent was good, however, it's important that you let the owner Bill Tewes know the day before you dive how many dives you want to do and if you want to do a night dive. The night dives are dependent upon whether or not his staff wants to work that night. You definitely want to do a night dive or two.
