It was a great pleasure to work with Steve Frink on our numerous product catalog and product packaging photo missions and I am honored to have him (and his family) as a dear friend(s). Steve’s talents extend well beyond that of a "photographer". Although he can instantly recognize the correct moment to photograph some of the most interesting aquatic wildlife on the planet, his eye for composition extends well beyond the depths of the seas. He can compose on the spot and direct talent (human or otherwise) with ease and finesse. His understanding of the performance of living or inanimate subjects allows him to direct a shot and anticipate the action of his subject in order to capture the required image for the greatest visual impact. His appreciation for and use of natural lighting is unparalleled. His attention to detail is unrelenting. His versatility to shoot studio, interior, exterior, portrait and/or action photography, on a single mission, without missing a beat is awe-inspiring. I have had the opportunity to work with dozens of very talented photographers. None is Steve’s peer.
